So, what was your favorite Super Bowl ad? I have to admit that FREE always catches my attention and Denny’s spending a reported $3 million to announce free breakfast did just that! Plus the commercial was clever with a dig toward IHOP.
Unfortunately there’s not a Denny’s close to me so I won’t be able to enjoy

Usually I shop at Walgreens alone, however my hubby has been curious after hearing all of the savings and decided to tag along on a recent shopping trip. It was just a quickie to use some Register Rewards that were expiring today. Nothing eventful happened until we were ringing up and I walked out with $50 worth of merchandise with only 25 cents OOP. It was so funny to see my husband’s look of bewilderment. He was totally in shock all the way home. “How did you do that?” “I can’t believe you did that” was all he could say over and over again. It made my day and all the hard work it takes to find these deals all worthwhile. ((Plus I have to give a shout out to the very cool manager who totally worked his magic on the register so it would take my last $3 RR that was expiring today…thank you!!)
